When I was 17 years old, I met a guy named..let's call him Jay. Jay and I connected instantly. Within three months we got our first apartment together and were practically inseperable. I ended up going away for college and cried the entire trip and first week I was there. I ended up driving three hours one way EVERY weekend just to be near him for a day. But we were young, and I was insecure and thought he was cheating on me so we broke up. After a month of avoiding him calling and calling and calling (I was away at school) the calls suddenly stopped. It scared me to death, so I called him to see if he was okay or had gotten hurt. He was fine physically, but so depressed that he was moving across country (Literally east coast to west coast) to live with his dad. It felt like someone had stabbed me. It took me less than two heart beats to decide that I was going with him to wherever he was. So I packed my bags and we moved. Life was great. We were always smiling and laughing, we did so many amazing things...adventures I guess I consider them...and then, when I was 21 I found out I was pregnant. Everything went down hill from there as my attention turned away from him onto our child that I was carrying. And he became abusive. I tolerated the unusual negative behavior until our son was 4 months old, and I finally couldn't take it anymore, so i decided I was moving back to the east coast. There was never a discussion, if I went, he was going to go. So we moved, and life settled down. He actually really began to enjoy being a parent and I thought the worst was behind us...until we got pregnant AGAIN, less than 6 months after having our first son. The pattern of abusive behavior began again, and reckless behavior on his part...but not until I started to show that I was carrying a child. By the time our second son was two months old I called the police and had him arrested for one of the many abusive inciddents. And I knew that I had made the right choice. I was a single mother of two infants for almost a year, when I met my current husband. He had 6 children from a previous marriage so he enjoyed the babies. It took almost too much time and energy to blend our families, or even to form a deeply rooted bond between the two of us (even though he is an amazing man) and I just wrote it off to being so hurt by Jay. It's been over three years since I've seen Jay's face, heard his voice, even asked about him, but when I close my eyes at night it's his face that I dream about. I know that I should be scared of him, but honestly, after the anger wore off...the sense of abandonment, there's just been an enormous feeling of loss. When I allow myself to think about him it feels like someone is stabbing me right in the center of my stomach and I almost have to bend over from the pain. I just don't know where I go from here..I've moved on. I'm married to a wonderful, respectable man who brings out the best in me and loves and accepts my children. But I can't help feeling like I've lost everything...Am I absolutly hopeless? Are these feelings due to the abuse in the relationship? Or did we really have something more that we just weren't ready for?

Hi, so I have tried asking this on 3 other forums (WebMD, a pregnancy one, and ehealth) and NO ONE will even answer. I don't have any one to talk to because I just moved 600miles away from home....I am possibly just worrying too much and my boyfriend has gotten this into my head of being pregnant. I am 20, and living with my boyfriend. I have been on Gianvi (Yaz generic) for 2 months now. We are sexually active, and don't use a back up method of birth control. I know, not the smartest, but we also wouldn't mind having a baby if it happens. For 2 weeks now I am nauseated every time I try to eat, so I'm ALWAYS hungry but at the same time I eat a few bites and feel like I stuffed myself. Every night starting around 8pm it gets worse and as the later it gets, especially worse when I try to go to sleep, but have not actually thrown up. Sorry for this bit of info, but I have had to pee a lot, been a little constipated and very gassy (sorry!) We eat the same as we always have. I cook and we never eat fast food. Starting yesterday it is tender and hurts around my nipples, and my veins are more pronounced. I am also pretty moody. I don't know my ovulation days because my pills messed me up and I had a 6 day period, 2 days off, and another 4 day period. I am expecting the next within a week or so, so I can't really test yet. I didn't have any of these issues in my first month of using the pill, so why would it just now set in? My boyfriend isn't mad if I am....he is actually very excited and supportive. The main reason I am even on the pill is because my PMDD causes horrible cramps and irregular cycle, so this is to help with those things. My mom started getting sick the day after she conceived me, so early signs wouldn't be unusual.

How can I deal with loneliness in college?

I go to one of the biggest party schools in the nation- people go out to bars every night, and seem to only be focused on getting drunk and sleeping around. I have absolutely no interest in drinking, and I am also planning on staying a virgin until I'm married. However, everyone just blows me off as a boring prude, and doesn't bother trying to become my friend after they realize this about me. I know I sound like I'm exaggerating, but I'm really not. Right ok, I like this guy who's in my school year, he's younger than be by about 9 months but I don't mind that (seeing as he's taller than me anyway :P). How to choose between fraternities?

I recently received bids from two fraternities (not saying which ones to avoid biased people) A and B. What should I look for the most when choosing between the two? I am going to be a Sophomore Business/Comp science major this year and both A and B are full so I don't need to live in either house. Fraternity A just started back up so it is mostly Sophomores at the moment. B started back up a few years earlier but has Seniors and Juniors. On the social and athletic tiers they are about the same with B having better GPA. The cost to join both is the same, but A has an official house while B has an unofficial house that is an apartment complex but both are by each other. I went to parties at both and got along great with both houses of guys. Both have decent alumni, have 50 or so actives, and cost about the same to belong to. Are there any other factors I should consider? Neither are on probation so it basically comes down to A having an official house, being younger overall, and newer versus B being more mature, more well known to sororities, and a better GPA.

Don't do diet pills. Go for runs. Do exercise videos. Try doing 100 crunches every night before bed. If you get enough exercise, the weight will come off much quicker. Take the baby for walks in a stroller (that burns a ton of calories pushing the stroller around). It also creates bonding time with your child:) Also drink a full glass of water before you eat and another one during your meal and eat off a small plate so that it looks full without it being too much food. You don't need to change what you eat, just limit what you do, and get plenty of exercise! Also just try to incorporate veggies, they don't have to be fresh! you can buy frozen green beans, carrots, spinach and brocoli! Good luck!:)

The larger kitten my be more immature than the other and needs "mommy" still. The vet would be my first contact, though. Sororities don't typically do scholarships or funding. Maybe you can work out a payment plan with the vice president of finance for whatever sorority and also ask for donations from business... for example, sororities are known to have lots of gear (hats, t-shirts, bags, pants, sunglasses, towels, etc...) so you could ask businesses to pay $25-$100 to put their logo on such and such an item and then bring down dues for the whole sorority or take a larger chunk for yourself if no one's helping you. Or beg the parents for some money and offer to pay them back over time. I know how it goes - I pay for my dues myself and there are people in my co-ed fraternity who are spoiled brats and have everything handed to them. You could also look into a co-ed fraternity, I love the one I'm in and have gotten that family bond that you seem to be looking for. Dues are a fraction of the cost of social sororities. (At ASU where I attend I pay $300 a year in dues, for sororities it's around $1400 a year)

Almost 32 weeks pregnant and in pain?

Foreskin restoration difficulties?

I am 15 and i began using manual foreskin restoration methods maybe a month back. I am a 19 year old college student and I don't have that much experience with painting walls. I am moving into a room in my sorority house and I want to paint the walls a different color. Why won't my 1999 Saab 9-5 ACC power up after I tried to fix the pixel problem?

After successfully repairing the SID unit using foam tape to add pressure to the ribbon cable, I tried doing the same thing to the ACC unit but now it won't power up when I put it back in the car! I tried resetting it (off and auto buttons simultaneously) and also nothing is blocking light sensor, but still absolutely no power or hint of life! While taking it apart and putting it together, I didn't have anything unusual happen (like dropping it, ripping the ribbon, etc.) so I have no idea what might have gone wrong? Any ideas or suggestions?

I've been in love with the same girl all my life. My period was irregular for the most of my teen years, now I'm soon to be 22 years old and my period seems to be regular now on about an average of 28 days. By irregularity, I tend to have frequent periods like 2 times in one month or 1 time in one month. All I know is that I always have my period at the last 2 weeks of every months. My last period was on June 1, 2011. I am supposed to be expecting a period sometime this week and I know when I am about to have my period, I would have sore breasts, bloating, and cramp before I actually get my period. I have none of that yet. I just got a little bit sick last Tuesday in the evening out of blue and felt like I want to throw up. I was trying to refrain myself from vomiting until it passed about half hour later. I felt a little bit of cramp but not period-like cramp and fluttering. Before that, I kept noticing that I have very wet clear discharge on my underwear that I had to use pantiliner to absorb the fluid few days before I felt sick. I had dull headache, I went to bathroom little bit more frequently than before. It could be the water that I've been drinking. I did some researches about pregnancy and some of the symptoms fit me but I'm afraid that it could be something else. My boyfriend and I had sex every weekends for an entire month so far. We had been careful with condoms and few unprotected sex (withdrawal prior to ejactulating). I still feel like something is doing something in my belly. It's highly unusual to me. I don't have sore breast and I am about 2 days late! Usually when I'm about to have period, I start off with brown discharge but NO period so far. I never gone on without having period that long. I'm concerned that I could be possibly pregnant. Am I pregnant? I am planning on taking a pregnancy test this Friday so is it too early to take the test or should I wait a little bit longer? I have a four month old baby (first child) and have been searching high and low for a carrier that she would like. I finally found one after spending about $400 on carriers. I have tried four other kinds and she has hated them all. Anyway, I found one and they run about $100. I got a really cute one in a girly kind of print which my husband will never wear. Maybe I am just hanging out with the wrong crowd, but for the most part, I don't trust any of my friends and so I have a hard time becoming really close with them. You say the kitten has some of his teeth. That makes him at least four weeks old now. At that age, you can try introducing him to canned food mixed with milk. Maybe you'll have more success with getting him to eat than you did by using a dropper. Not all kittens take to bottle/dropper feeding and while it's not the best situation, he can now learn to eat like an adult cat does.

Is this normal? - Decoration of china cup?

Bet I looked at a thousand images of teacups online. Who knew it would be so hard to see the insides of the teacups. Some are clearly decorated all around. Some are decorated all around but more prominently on the side facing a right handed drinker. Almost all are photographed with the handle on the right so that it's hard to know exactly what, if anything, is on that hidden side. Did find many that appear to be decorated on just the one side, like yours, but difficult to tell. Did find one photo...FINALLY...that definitely is decorated on just the one side (see link below. look at cup on right that is mostly black on the inside). At my other home, I have a full vintage tea set and I think it has the inside decorations on only one side. Unfortunately, I can't really run to verify that. But I'm quite certain. And I KNOW they are authentic because I inherited them. So I don't think your cups are "off" or "seconds". I think they are exactly as they were designed to be.

I don't think there is much to criticize about. It's good. Suspense-filled (to me). It's well written. But, the thing that bothers me is if you're going to use the quotations in your story on master, high, Blood Skulls, The Pythons, and lair.

Why Are We So Obsessed With Royal Weddings?

Where I live, in Ontario, Canada, some of the shop owners closed their stores, and stayed home to watch the Royal Wedding on Friday. Where I work we set up a theatre so people who were interested could come in for free and watch the replay of the wedding ceremony. We served tea in china cups and saucers, petite sandwiches and dainties and we even sent out invitations to people asking the women to wear gloves and hats. It wasn't mandatory, but just for fun. I think it was great that everyone was so excited about it, but I was satisfied watching the highlights on the evening news. How many shared the tremendous enthusiasm?

Need info about sororities?

Even though you might be eligible for some of the sororities some have a rules that would allow you to go alumnae anytime you want because you have a kid. This is not an attractive quality to most sororities because your commitments will be divided between the sorority and you child. You have to realistically look at if you can make this commitment because being in a sorority is very time consuming. However, if you feel you can balance school, sorority, properly caring for your child and being financially stable in all of those aspects go for it. However it might be better to go for a service fraternity like Alpha Phi Omega, or an honorary fraternity because these too can have great and wonderful benefits.

Long distance relationship?

okay so i am going to college 12.5 hours away by car from my home. my boyfriend is a year younger and he really wants to stay together. i really wanted to stay together but now as im getting closer to moving in on august 13th (so early) im running out of time and i dont know if i want to hold him back and put him through all the stress of a long distance relationship senior year or if i want to be stressed out about a boy 12 hours away. we've been together for about 8 months now almost 9 and dating for 6 almost 7. before i leave for college we would have been dating for 8 months. i really truly love him and i know he loves me too but i just dont know if i should give up my college experience for him. everytime i talk to him about it he gets upset and defensive and says if you break up with me when you go to college ill never talk to you again. i dont want that but i also dont want the stress of a long distance relationship put on me as well as 16 hours of classes a week. i just dont know how to tell him. i know im going to be at parties and be tempted to do things especially if i am in a sorority. should i give up my college experience for the guy i love? he always talks about how we are going to get married and how he can wait for me forever. but i dont want to go to college and cheat on him because i am not like that at all and i could never do that especially to him. wah i really dont know what to do. i know i have a little time left but im just so stressed and confused. i used to cry every night because i would think about leaving him but now its college its my turn to start over and be who i want to be and do what i want to do. what should i do? :(

If you look at some Renassaince paintings you can see UFOs in the background. So i want to know why, in a time before photoshop, airplanes or even the knowledge of what space was, are painters painting detailed examples of UFOs?

They're definitely old enough! (10 weeks). They eat only can or dry food, and drink only water, but they've been drinking it out of a bottle, but our last bottle nipple just broke, so they NEED to drink from the saucer, which they refuse to do. The main reason girls dress up is to look more attractive, and I think that you are not alone in thinking that nicely dressed women are a pleasure to look at! How to revive my Majestic Palm pot plant?

I bought a Majestic Palm at the Ikea recently 1 month back. I read that it needs regular watering and I am watering it almost daily since then but just around 2 to 3 cups of water. I tried to keep it inside just beside the balcony glass door but its really tough to drain the water out of the saucer daily, so I kept it outside for 1 week and now most of the leaves are brown and some of the leaves have small holes on them. I got a puppy 2 days ago and he wont drink any water from his bowl. I tried adding milk to the water but it still won't work. I gave him some in a saucer and that didn't work! Really confused, I think I'm driving myself crazy.?

My situation is so confusing and the more I think there is no way Im pregnant the signs keep coming up. I had unprotected sex June 2nd and was almost positive I experience implantation bleeding a week later, my period wasn't due for another week and a half so I was just going to wait it out. Why did the military switch it's story so quickly regarding the Roswell crash?

The military issued a press release on July 8th, 1947 indicating that they had recovered the wreckage of a flying saucer; the following day they retracted their original statement and said it was a weather balloon. Wouldn't the military have all the facts straight before issuing such a bold press release? Wouldn't they have been able to discern a weather balloon from something that is purportedly as advanced as a flying saucer?

Friend and i are having some very weird problems with...?
